Bonang opens up: About online hate that she says constantly gets
Bonang Matheba is Marie Claire's July cover star and has spoken out about the online hate that she says she constantly gets, saying that "every single word in the world that you can think of, I've been called."
Opening up about the constant barrage of negative messages that she faces, Bonang admitted that "I have encountered the worst. The very worst."
During the interview with the glossy magazine, Bonang was asked how she copes on a bad day.
"In this industry, nobody cares if you're having a bad day. The show must go on. You have to be professional. You have to be flawless. We booked you."
Speaking about her past relationships, Bonang emphasised that she has endured the wrath of many people.
"I have gone through the worst pain: an ex-boyfriend having a child with someone else during our relationship. Being beaten. Being cheated on. Being embarrassed on social media numerous times. Everything you can imagine and then some more."
