Muhammad Ali's body returns home to Louisville
The casket, covered with a cloth inscribed in Arabic, arrived on a private plane from Scottsdale, Arizona where the former heavyweight champion died on Friday aged 74.
His wife Lonnie Ali and other family members were on board the plane, family spokesman Bob Gunnell said.
The body was taken to a funeral home where the family will consult with an imam ahead of a private memorial service on Thursday.
That will be followed on Friday by a public memorial service in a 22,000-capacity basketball arena.

There will also be a procession through the streets of Louisville down the streets where Ali grew up and past his childhood home.
On Sunday night Muslims, Christians and Jews packed into the River Road Mosque in Louisville for an interfaith service.
He was not named but the shadow of Donald Trump, and his proposed ban on foreign Muslims entering the United States, loomed over proceedings.
Some who spoke said the death of Ali came at a time when there were those who would seek to divide America and an "ambassador for humanity" was most needed.
