Paul Pogba will NOT have Manchester United medical until official agreement is struck with Juventus
The midfielder is yet to undergo a medical with the Red Devils who are still ironing out the finer details of the switch with Juventus, report the Manchester Evening News.
United are ready to pay a world record fee for Pogba, who left Old Trafford for Turin in 2012. But Pogba will only have a medical when United have an official agreement with Juventus.
Negotiations had stalled after a disagreement over how payments to Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, should be structured.
However, United are still confident of making the 23-year-old new manager Jose Mourinho's fourth signing of the summer.
There is still a chance he could be a United player before they take on Leicester in the Community Shield at Wembley on August 7.
Pogba is Mourinho's first-choice to fill the gap he has identified in United's midfield.
Paris Saint-Germain's Blaise Matuidi and Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro were considered in case Pogba decided to stay in Italy, or Real Madrid stumped up the cash to out-bid United.
